It has been a week since we came back from Costa Rica. After a whole week of exams and presentations, I eventually have time to look all the pictures and think about this wonderful experience.

This Coffee tech program gave me the best Thanksgiving experience ever. We visited more than 5 coffee farms, talked to the farmers and saw how they grow and process coffee. Seeing how coffee beans become roasted coffee made me love coffee more. Another lesson I learned from this trip is to respect all the food. Cajuela is a big basket used to measure the coffee beans. A cajuela of coffee beans is only worth 2 dollars, that is even cheaper than a cup of coffee from Starbucks. And every coffee bean is picked by farmers by hand. Therefore, there is no reason for us to waste food.

Costa Rica is also a very good run-away place. All the mountains, fogs, and cute animals can bring us back to the nature and remind us who we really are.
