Dr. Ruter receives Lifetime Award from GGIA

At the 2017 Georgia Green Industry Association WinterGreen Tradeshow, Dr. John Ruter was presented with the Vivian Munday/Buck Jones Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award. The award is a prestigious honor and is only given when there is an individual deserving of recognition for a lifetime of accomplishment and contributions to the green industry. Dr. Ruter has been with the University of Georgia since 1990 and is currently the Armitage Endowed Professor of Horticulture and Director of the Trial Gardens at UGA.
