Post Trip Reflection Mar 21, 2016 Now that I have fully recovered from our journey across Georgia I have come to realize one of my favorite destinations was the Glass Alligator Farm. The owner, Mark Glass, originally started raising broiler chickens. When he did not like the way dead chickens were to be disposed of, he decided he would purchase a few alligator to feed the dead chickens to. After some research, Glass found that there was a favorable market for alligator hide. He went out on a limb and purchased more alligators, remodeled some old chicken houses, and began raising and processing alligators. His story inspires me.
